If we took a moment to ask a stranger how their day is going, or ask them to tell us a little about themselves, what would we learn? If we took a chance and opened up a little bit to others, would that be reciprocated, and would we leave each other a little better off than we were before?

I read a quote recently that says, “There isn’t a person you wouldn’t love if you could read their story. ” The challenge that we face today is that we have largely lost that a personal connection. We are so busy living we’ve forgotten how to be alive. We have to choose to be present, choose to step out of our comfort zone and reconnect with each other.

What I’ve found by doing this is that people are truly amazing. We all have a story to tell. My goal is to share in that experience in a small way.
